Wylie School of Music Rock Shop Performs at Walk-On’s Wylie Ribbon Cutting

This week, one of our Wylie School of Music Rock Shop bands had the opportunity to be part of something pretty special!

The band was invited to perform at the ribbon cutting and opening celebration for the new Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Wylie. It was a great morning filled with music, community, and plenty of excitement as Wylie welcomed a new business to town.

What made the day especially fun for us was watching this group of students take the stage together. Many of these kids have been playing together in Rock Shop for several years, growing not only as individual musicians, but as a band. Opportunities like this give them a chance to take everything they’ve worked on in rehearsals and perform it in a real-world setting.

They did an awesome job, and we couldn’t have been prouder of the way they represented Wylie School of Music.
