A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our Open Mic at The Hub. We honestly weren't sure what to expect, and seeing a standing-room-only crowd was incredible. The room was full of encouragement, applause, and people cheering each other on. It was exactly the kind of atmosphere we hope to create every time we get together.

The real stars of the evening, though, were our students.

From first-time performers stepping onto a stage for the very first time to students who have been performing for years, everyone brought something special. It takes courage to get up in front of a room full of people, and we couldn't be more proud of each person who shared their music. Every performance represented hours of practice, perseverance, and growth.

One of our favorite things about events like this is watching our students support one another. Whether they were performing or simply sitting in the audience, everyone was quick to applaud, encourage, and celebrate each other's successes. That's one of the things we love most about the Wylie School of Music community.

We were also grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors through donations for the Christian Care Center. Thank you to everyone who brought hygiene items and other needed supplies. Your generosity will make a real difference for families in our community.

A special thank you goes to The Hub for once again opening their doors and providing such a welcoming venue. We're fortunate to have great local businesses that believe in supporting music and the arts here in Wylie.

Performance opportunities are an important part of what we do. While lessons build the skills, events like this help students build confidence, overcome nerves, and experience the joy of sharing music with others. Those are lessons that last long after the final note has been played.

Thank you again to everyone who performed, attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make the evening such a success. We already can't wait for the next one!
